عبداللہ بن عمرو (رضی اللہ عنہ) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) ایک سفر میں ہمارے پیچھے رہ گئے۔ وہ ہمارے ساتھ اس وقت شامل ہوے جب ہم نماز کے لیے وضو کر رہے تھے جس کا وقت ختم ہونے ہی والا تھا ۔ ہم ابھی اپنے پیروں پر گیلے ہاتھ پھیر رہے تھے (اور انہیں اچھی طرح سے نہیں دھو رہے تھے) تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے ہمیں بلند آواز میں مخاطب کیا اور دو تین بار فرمایا: "اپنی ایڑیوں کو آگ سے بچاؤ۔"

Narrated Abdullah bin Amr (R.A): Once The Prophet (SAW) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over- due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so The Prophet (SAW) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire."
This hadith emphasizes the importance of performing ablution properly before prayer, especially washing the feet, including the heels. It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the hadith describes an incident during a journey when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw his companions performing an inadequate ablution.
